Idea Device (ID) develops DataCenter automation products. Large banks, FSI & MNCs use our products to manage and automate their DCs. ID is backed by a large valley VC & has customers in India & abroad.
Position:
We run a reasonably diverse infrastructure with local & remote servers as well as AWS & Linode setup. We primarily run Linux. We have virtual windows running AD & Exchange (for product testing). We are looking for an experienced sysadmin to manage our infrastructure. We ofcourse want you to dogfood our DC management solution to automate the management of IT. We want you to automate, automate, automate !
Moar:
You will also be involved in product feature design – you will be the first customer for every new release. You will also own the design/requirements for HA, clustering, deployment & management in our product.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Linux and Windows sysadmin: Managed large Servers/LAN
- Skilled in shell scripting and one other scripting language (perl/python)
- Skilled in Network Setups: router, dhcp, subnets, firewalls
- Exposure to VM (vmware/xen/hyperV/kvm) technologies is a plus
- Exposure/hands on for common open source tools: apache, nginx, postgresql, firewalls, nagios, ticketing
- History of automating sysops is a big plus
