SportsMechanics is India’s leading sports technology and analytics company. We’re expanding our team and are searching for an enthusiastic front-end developer who can create pixel perfect user interfaces with excellent HTML/CSS and Javascript knowledge.


As a front end developer, you will be involved in:


  • Building specialized responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies.

  • Collaborating with the UI team and write elegant, well structured HTML/CSS that renders great across modern browsers.

  • Collaborating with developers (.Net, C#) & hand off front-end code for implementation.

  • Re-factoring parts of our code base to get significant client-side performance gains. We are looking to ditch the page refresh.

  • Making front-end architecture decisions on which approaches we should be using to provide the best experience possible for our customers.

  • Improving the presentation of our data using the latest visualization frameworks/technologies.

  • Providing beautiful and fast code that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

  • Rapidly fixing bugs and solving problems.

  • Taking responsibility for front-end performance.

Qualifications


You must demonstrate strong HTML/CSS and Javascript skills. Experience and academic qualifications are secondary to your portfolio of work. A passion for sports is an added advantage :)


Nice-To-Haves


  • Experience working with an MV* framework like Backbone, Ember, Angular etc.,

  • Experience working with Node js

  • Experience working with the Titanium SDK
