grabHalo is a mobile app that lets you send free messages instantly, not only to people you have already known but also to people around the world whom you don’t know yet. It’s almost like shouting and getting people’s attention; except you don’t have to shout literally. You just make a few clicks and voila! You can get connected with people in your neighborhood, your school, your town, or even with people from other countries that interest you given that they also use grabHalo. You don’t even have to share your personal info such as your email address or phone number.

About Us
- Core team is composed of Stanford Grad and two Local Programming Boy Wonders
- Founder knows what a successful startup is like. He was product manager at Trippert Labs before which was acquired by Playdom and then Disney in the US. He plans to exceed his previous experience this time around
- Founder has experience launching apps that were ranked as high as #2 on the iTunes store
- We have launched the Android alpha. Plan is to also launch for iPhone and other platforms in the next two months. The rest will be shared with you when we meet

Developer Opening:
Incredibly bright (IIT or equivalent level of logical reasoning/mathematical intelligence). Note: you don’t have to have gone to IIT at all. Just know your smarts will be tested
- Have experience with mobile app development and familiarity with MVC model
- Experience programming on the front and backend
- Languages that would be useful to know: Obj-C, Python, Java, Node.js, PHP, Javascript, JQuery, and experience with Postgres/mongoDB/(MySQL is acceptable)
- Minimum three years of programming experience either professionally or as a personal passion
- Experience leading the implementation of a technology stack
- Have projects you can show us
