As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working closely with our user experience and product teams to continuously build our online experience and our back-end systems and take features from conception to launch. As a senior engineer, you will be working with the management to groom the sharpest engineering team in the digital commerce business in India. Your experience here will help you build the best-in-class back-end systems to handle one of the most complex categories in the retail industry.
Role
- Enhance/maintain the core e-commerce engine & the Urban Ladder website
- Develop analytics, reporting and recommendation systems
- Develop/maintain payment integrations & supply chain systems
- Ensure scalability, reliability, efficiency & security of our server infrastructure
- Conduct code reviews & mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- LAMP stack proficiency (Experience with either PHP/Python/Ruby)
- Experience using source control systems like Git/Mercurial/SVN
- Attention to detail
- HTML, CSS & JavaScript proficiency
- Knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of object oriented concepts
- Magento experience is a plus
- AWS experience is a plus
