Who we are: OptionThree Consulting Pvt. Ltd is a Bangalore based niche consulting organization. Our leadership has a set of very, very experienced professionals who have provided critical consulting services to industry, built products, sold products and solutions, delivered solutions, developed business and grown organizations from scratch. We have experienced the heady start-up journey in the past, which eventually culminated in acquisition by a very large MNC. So we are very keen to do it again!

What we do:
- We have consulted extensively in the horizontal of Supply Chain Execution. We have worked with global industry leaders in the business verticals of Retail, Transportation and Logistics, Distribution and CPG etc.
- We understand technology and we are passionate about its applicability in solving real-life business problems through Product Engineering and Technology services.
- We know Supply Chain Enterprise Applications extremely well, owing to the fact that we were involved in defining, designing and implementing these applications all over the world. So we are masters of Enterprise Application Architecture and Enterprise Application roll-outs.
Why we want you: Yes, we’ve just got going- we incorporated only in Nov 2012. But enough people know us from our past lives to have trusted us with enough business already! We need some more smart folks in order to cater to our rapid growth. So, there are immediate needs. And these needs span multiple countries.
We want you if: you think that the 3 Cs below define you:
Curious: You ask often, how things around you work- systems, applications, governments, technology… and you make attempts to understand these things using all available resources.
Confident: You are very sure about your ability to learn new things and express your opinions in a cogent manner to the rest of the world.
Consultative: That’s slightly abstract. To us it means that you can work in ambiguous environments, figure things out – define problems, communicate effectively (verbal and written), engage with multiple stakeholders (internal and external), design and implement solutions to given problems with a fair degree of independence etc. You get the idea- there is not going to be a lot of hand-holding.
Now, you might not already be all of the above but if you do join us, you soon will be!
What’s in it for you: You’ve all heard the ‘jazzy’ start-up story. It’s the path to quick riches etc… Let us quickly break that illusion: A start-up is hard. It means unstructured work. It means very steep learning curves. It often means frustration.
On the other hand, it is also the fastest way to acquire key professional skills that will pay you back over the rest of your life. It means that you will be handling significant responsibility much, much sooner than your peers in larger organizations. Let us be clear that the salary is going to be extremely competitive!
A few things we will look for: Here’s a broad requirement set:
- Graduated from a premium Engineering/B-school. (Branch does not matter at all and Grades don’t count for too much either!).
- 4-8 years of work experience.
- Decent hands-on work on various technology platforms: Java/J2EE (for immediate needs); other platforms- for joining us on the journey with the future in mind AND/OR Strong functional exposure to Enterprise Applications in the Supply Chain domain.
- Awareness of/ Exposure to Supply Chain Applications or consulting assignments is a plus.
- Outstanding extra-curricular records count for a lot.
Other interesting (at least, we think so!) stuff:
- You join us on the journey and you beat the oldest of us in a competitive 5K/10K or half-marathon within 6 months of joining, and we’ll throw in a special something as an incentive!!
- Then, there’s some talk of a company band with various folks thumping various instruments and singing random songs (sometimes, fairly decently too!). So you have a shot at that too!
- Or we could head off into the Himalayas in quest for peace and solitude and end up making as much noise there as we do in the plains!
