Roles & Responsibilities :
· We’re looking for a highly driven senior PHP developer to develop and maintain our core product.
· Candidate will have ownership of the product, be responsible of delivery and will share responsibility of product metrics.
· Ideal candidate should possess strong problem solving skills and should be able to translate business requirements into scalable design and code.
· You will mentor junior engineers on software design and coding practices. You are expected to instill best practices for development and plan projects in an agile development framework.
Skills Required:
· Experience of PHP development (preferably in a SaaS based company). Masters/ Bachelors in engineering (preferably Computer Science) Strong knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented models.
· Strong hands on experience working with MVC frameworks such as Yii.
· Experience with full life-cycle of complex data-driven web application design and development
· Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies
· Working knowledge and experience with AJAX, XHTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
· Good knowledge of MySQL
· Experience of working with distributed architecture
· Experience of working with SVN or other versioning systems
