About Frilp:
Frilp is a product of Turing Research Labs, a startup seed funded by CIIE, Incubation center of IIMA and have been recently invited to STARTX, Incubation center of Stanford University. We work with some of the leading minds in the field and have a Stanford University professor as our primary advisor (whose area of research is in building non-exploitable recommendation systems (review/rating systems)). Our story and recent happenings can be viewed in our blog.
Keeping humility aside for a bit, I think we have one of the smartest, well-balanced & open-cultured environments amongst start-ups in India.

Problem:
We have the Frilp Beta ready on Web and currently being used by the first set of early adopters. We are currently researching about Frilp being deployed both for Indian and USA market. But we do not have a mobile solution for Frilp yet. Frilp being a B2C solution driven by user-generated-content, we realize we definitely need to build a mobile solution sooner. One that is highly intuitive, world-class, fresh and simple in interactions and functionality. I’m inviting you to completely own this and build it.
Role:
1. Design and develop the mobile application of Frilp
2. Lead the planning, implementation and support the entire suite of mobile applications for Frilp
3. Manage requirements and feedback from multiple stakeholders to improve usability and functionality end-to-end
4. Build the Frilp mobile team from ground-up in near future.
What we expect:
We are looking for a Lead Android Developer, One who is passionate, experienced and willing to adopt new technologies in mobile space. We are not looking for an employee rather looking to add someone to our frilp core founding team.
Prefered Skill set:
1. Strong technical background and hands-on in Android SDK.
2. Sound knowledge and understanding of Design Patterns and object oriented design.
3. Good understanding of REST architecture
4. 3+ years of experience in the mobile space
Our Belief:
We truly believe attitude rules over aptitude…so you don’t need to be an ex-Google or ex-Facebook guy with 300/300 IQ..but we prefer you to be self-driven, having done a few hacks and pet-projects on mobile/web out of interest and let your work showcase your love towards programming, mobile and web. We don’t want order takers, we don’t want rule-followers. We simply want genuinely talented, committed task-owners, who command respect through their work and attitude than their experience or titles.
