HANDS ON REQUIREMENTS:


  • Standards-compliant HTML and CSS hand-coding from scratch (preferably some experience working with HTML5 and CSS3). Must love text editors.

  • Convert design templates or mocks into web pages that are Responsive, semantic, scalable, lightweight, optimized for search engines and are optimized across browser and platforms.

  • Be responsible to manage content and updates to client websites.

  • Master Standards Based Web Development, which will involve an understanding of W3C Standards for XHTML, CSS as well Accessibility Standards (Section 508)

  • Support the Product Delivery Lead / Design Team in bringing projects to completion within the set timeline.

  • Write Java Script, use existing code or libraries based on the requirement of a project.

  • Understand the Open Source CMS’s such as Word Press, Joomla, Drupal and any other in regards to integrating a new design.

  • Develop optimized, cross-platform front-ends in CSS/XHTML/Javascript, and work with the middle-tier PHP code to support it.

  • Interface with the UI community to absorb the latest trends and emerging technologies.

  • Keep abreast of evolving methodologies and current trends within your domain and share this knowledge with the team

  • ABILITY TO WORK IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF PERFECTION AND COMPLIANCE TO WEB STANDARDS AND HIGH DESIGN QUALITY BENCHMARKS

  • Strong organizational and time management skills – know what you need to do, and DO IT!

  • Quality and hygiene of code will be a strong consideration

  • Demonstrable communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Collaborative style

EXPERIENCED IN:


  •  Mobile Development.

  • Experience with Open Source CMS Drupal, WordPress, Joomla.
